Deeper and further

Hello friends,

I pray that you are well and pressing into all that God has for you, wherever you are in the world and whatever you are doing.

I am continuing to live on the edge of what He's up to in Kathmandu. I feel really humbled and overwhelmed that He would bring me to this place and give me the multitude of opportunities that He does every day.

Pokhara was a good time of being away from the hustle of the city. It's beautiful. I could sit by the lake and wonder at the glory of God for hours there. I was sick for a while after Pokhara - vomiting for a day and then dizziness which lasted for about a week. Thankfully it wasn't anything serious and I am well again now.

My Grade 4 class at school has now been split into two smaller classes which is a real blessing as it means I have significantly more teacher contact time with each child. Term 2 is now underway and I am really enjoying teaching at KISC and getting involved in the community that God has given me there. It is really amazing and such a privilege to teach kids from all over the world who are really eager to learn!

The last few weeks have been festival time in the city. We have had Dashain and Tihar (Nepali Diwali) so there have been lights and decoration everywhere. It's felt a bit like Christmas! It has certainly been an insightful cultural experience being here at this time, and definitely a good time to pray for the nation. I love the Nepal's creativity and the passion with which they celebrate. Please keep praying for Nepal, that God would release His glory and His presence over the nation and for freedom, hope, light and truth.

Thank you for your continued prayer and the many ways that you support me and uphold me. I'm so grateful for each one of you and the impact that you have on my life.

Please continue to remember me and pray for me.

Here are some specific things you can pray into:

- My health and energy - as it gets colder and darker here I am finding myself more tired and wanting to hibernate!

- My relationships with my kids and colleagues at school.

- Times of rest and retreating away with Jesus.

- My heart - that I would root deeper and further into Him and draw on the Holy Spirit to sustain me.

Thank you so much.

With lots of love,

Hannah
