I am now coming to the end of my sixth year working at KISC, living in Nepal and serving in this nation. Many of you have been supporting me and continuing to stand by me and pray for me over the last 6 (plus!) years and I am so grateful to you and for you.

The initial commitment at KISC for an international volunteer is 2 years, so I have seen a lot of change in the time I have been here. People sometimes ask me how I cope with so many friends and colleagues coming and going all the time, and the honest answer is that God has to keep teaching me how to keep my heart soft and how to keep loving people well and intentionally pouring into them, even though they may only be there for a short time. Every new person reflects God's heart in a way that I have never seen before as each one is created in His image, therefore the more people that I take the time to get to know and love and pray for, the more I learn of Him. Because the community here is not just about the school, there is a lot more of "doing life together" than I have ever known in any other school that I have worked in, because so many of us are far from home and far from our communities and support networks. We become family fast here.

My mum came to visit a few weeks ago, her first time in Nepal, and it was so wonderful to be able to show her the places and introduce her to the people that she has been hearing about for so long! She spent a couple of days in my classroom so she also got to see me teach and could get to know my students. My favourite things were seeing her share about Jesus with them and also getting to share time with our street friends in the city.

I have two weeks left with an incredible group of Grade 2 students! I'm constantly amazed by them and the way that they love God and are eager to pray, as well as seeing them grow remarkably in confidence and independence over the academic year. The other day, a teacher was feeling unwell and asked my students to pray for her, and Jesus healed her within the day! A parent of one of my students recently told me how her daughter will now ask people if she can pray for them when they share that they are sick or if something difficult is going on in their lives. It's so easy to see God at work in this place and so exciting to be caught up in what He is doing here.

Please continue to pray for me personally, for strength, energy, wisdom and all that I need in order to do life well here and finish the year strong.

Please keep praying for KISC - we are still recruiting and we need God to send the people that He is prompting, our way! Please share this link far and wide: https://www.kisc.edu.np/vacancies

Thank you for your continued partnership with me. I will be in the UK this summer (I fly in 2 weeks on 7th June), and back to Nepal at the end of July, so I hope to catch up with lots of you in person. If you feel led to support me financially, here is how you can do that:
