TOMORROW!!

Hi everyone,

So I'm leaving tomorrow! Just about got my head around the packing and organisation. I don't "feel ready" as per se, but I think if I waited until I felt ready before I did anything, nothing would happen! I fly at 11:30 tomorrow morning, via Istanbul. I arrive in Kathmandu at 6:30am local time on Friday morning (early hours of the morning UK time). There are 3 of us on the same flight from Istanbul so that will be really nice.

Please pray for my journey and settling in at the other end:

That luggage would arrive safely, for smooth airport transitions and for good conversations with people that I meet along the way. I really enjoy airports, you never know who you might bump into, and people are generally up for a chat I find!

That God would speak to me as I do this next journey with Him. That He would sustain me and hold me together. Isaiah 46:4 says "I have made you and I will carry you, I will sustain you and I will rescue you." This is so much the story of my life journey with Jesus over the last 30 years and I know that He will continue to take care of me.

For the friendships and relationships I will form with colleagues, parents, children etc. I long to be really connected into the community there. Please pray that God would give me good friends to do life with.
